Johnson's Apparelmaster approached Mitre Group to develop the skills and qualifications of staff across all levels of the business.
Mitre have been working with Johnsons to develop and deliver a comprehensive workforce development programme. The programme, designed in collaboration with the training team at Johnsons, develops a range of skills across all business departments, from laundry and manufacturing operations to office business administration skills, sales, customer service and management.
All training is specific to each role and topics include laundry operations, process efficiencies, team work, sales skills, customer care, health and safety and equality and diversity. All courses are accredited and delivered specifically to address identified training needs of the individual and of the business and supports progression into the Johnsons Training Academy.
Mitre and Johnsons are now expanding this partnership to support the Johnsons Apparelmaster Apprenticeship Levy programme; a company wide programme to support skills development across all sites and departments of the business.
