This qualification provides further knowledge to work in a great number of customer service roles. Your apprentice will learn how to manage a variety of quires, and will be the point of call for more complex enquires.

 

Designed with input from the Institute of Customer Service, BT, EON Energy, and many other well-known UK organisations, this Apprenticeship is ideal for roles within any sector in which staff are the initial point of contact for customers and are responsible for high quality customer service.

About this programme

The customer service specialist will act as an ambassador and ‘professional’ front person for the businesses customer service provision.

 

They’ll play a pivotal role in dealing with more complex issues, demands and challenges; essentially they’ll act as a core referral point for dealing with technical customer requests, complaints, and queries. They'll be a confident and skilled communicator, who can empathise with the customer while aiming to seek a solution on their behalf. It’s a careful balance between maintaining the best interests of the business and consumer.

The knowledge and skills gained on this Mitre professional apprentice programme can be applied to a whole host of working environments, including contact centres, retail, webchat, service industries or any customer service touch point. Upon completion of the Mitre programme the professional will be well equipped to gather and analyse customer data and information, ensuring that the outcomes of such analysis influences positive change and improvements in service. Utilising IT systems to carry out their role, they’ll possess a sound  awareness of other digital technologies.
